The Bemidji Fire Department will conduct a prescribed burn this morning.
According to a release, the burn will be in the area of 1st Street East and Paul Bunyan Drive South, starting around 9 a.m. and it’s expected to be completed by 11.
The burning should remove excessive vegetative material and restore prairie and wildlife habitat.
