A Red Lake man will spend over four years in prison for assaulting three people with a gun.
According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 21-year-old Dillon George Taylor was sentenced to 52 months yesterday in the U.S. District Court in Minneapolis.
According to court documents and Taylor’s guilty plea, in November 2018 during a confrontation with two people, Taylor pointed a gun at one person and threatened his life. When the two left the scene in a vehicle driven by a third person, Taylor pursued and shot at the vehicle multiple times.
When the car pulled into the casino parking lot, Taylor continued his pursuit, firing a shot toward the entrance of the casino where the three people and casino personnel were standing.
