The Cass County Sheriff’s Office announced today that a 15-year-old has been taken into custody.
According to the release, formal charges are pending in connection to the death of 19-year-old Brandon Morgan, Jr.
Law enforcement responded to a Cass Lake residence Monday and found Morgan dead. The cause of death was ruled a homicide.
The Leech Lake Tribal Police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
