Through a $5000 donation from northern Minnesota’s Red Lake Nation, Bemidji State University’s Alumni and Foundation has purchased 54 stethoscopes for students enrolled in the university’s four-year track nursing program. The boardwalk at Lake Bemidji State Park will be closed next week for repairs. According to a release, contractors will work to re-level portions of the decking starting around March 15. The project is anticipated to last between five and ten days, weather permitting. Recent frost heaves have reportedly pushed up the decking.
