A 24-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle crash in Itasca County.
The state patrol says 50-year-old John Max was traveling on Highway 169 with a large group of motorcyclists Saturday morning when the group braked suddenly, causing Max to lose control of his Harley Davidson.
The motorcycle went down on its side, killing Kristine Grover.
Max was transported to Grand Itasca for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
The Itasca County Sheriff’s Office, the DNR and Hill City Fire assisted at the scene.
