Addiction treatment center coming soon

An addiciton wellness center is currently in the works within the county.

During the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners’ work session on Tuesday, Margot Kelsey informed the board that a 32-bed facility, that would include both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, is just finishing up construction near Wilton.

Kelsey, who recently completed her licensed drug and alcohol counselor certification, says the for-profit model of the center will help build group homes and other addiction-related facilities in the future.

Kelsey says the flooring is currently being done at the facility, and an open house will be scheduled soon.
