GRAND RAPIDS-An Arkansas man could spend nearly eight years in prison for selling heroin and methamphetamine in the Grand Rapids area.

The Itasca County Attorney’s Office says 29-year-old Shakorey Wade of El Dorado was sentenced after pleading guilty to the first-degree sale of controlled substances.

Wade sold drugs to an informant in March and officers found three ounces of meth and two ounces of heroin in his backpack during a traffic stop.
