Armed robbery suspected arrested in North Dakota

A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with the armed robbery at an Ogema convenience store earlier this month.

The arrest, according to the White Earth Reservation Business Council’s release, was in Devils Lake, North Dakota, on Monday, Nov. 23.

Thirty-two-year-old Levi Brandin Jerome was charged in Becker County with 1st degree aggravated robbery, second degree assault and a weapons offense.

Jerome is being held at the Lake Region Correctional Center in Devils Lake, pending extradition.

The case is still an ongoing investigation.

The Becker County Sheriff’s Department, United States ATF, Minnesota BCA, North Dakota BCI, Headwaters Safe Trails Task FOrce, Detroit Lakes Police Department, Devils Lake Police Department and the Lake Region Narcotics Task Force is assisting the White Earth Police Department with this case.
