AUDIO: Foster parents still needed, even amid a pandemic

Lutheran Social Services are seeking foster parents across Minnesota.

“It is vital for children in foster care to have support from caring adults during this difficult time in their lives,” said Jodi Raidt, statewide program manager with Lutheran Social Service. “We need families who are committed to children’s overall wellbeing.”

LSS will hold an informational webinar on becoming a foster care family this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. The event is free. Register here.

Foster parents can be single or married, home owners or renters, according to a release. Learn more at the LSS’s foster care website.
