The Beltrami County Board of Commissioners, during their last meeting, approved a contract for the next County Administrator.
Current Administrator Kay Mack announced her plans for retirement nearly six months ago.
Thomas Barry was selected during the meeting Tuesday, and most recently served as the CEO and City Manager for the City of Minot, North Dakota for the past four years.
Prior to his time in Minot, Barry was the director of public works for Meridan, Idaho, Engineering and Operations Manager for Redmond Washington, and Public Works Program Administrator for Bellevue, Washington.
Barry’s first day is Dec. 1.
