Authorities release description of alleged attacker

BEMIDJI– Authorities released the description of a man they believe attacked a woman last Sunday in Bemidji.

According to a release from Bemidji Police Captain David LaZella, officers investigated an assault in the 1500 block of Roosevelt Road early Sunday morning and spoke with a female victim, who said she was pulled to the ground by an unknown male.

She said she was able to free herself during a struggle and ran from the area.

She described the man as having dark hair, wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans and standing at approximately 5 feet 9 inches.
