CASS LAKE– Authorities are seeking a man they have determined to be armed and dangerous.
According to a release from the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, agents from their office, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the BCA, the State Patrol and the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force attempted to apprehend Andrew Matsen in a drug sales investigation in Cass Lake Tuesday.
After a short vehicle pursuit, Matsen ran on foot, and during the course of the pursuit a gun was discharged, apparently by Matsen.
Matsen’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
Matsen should not be approached, and anyone with information should contact the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department.
Matsen is described as a 21-year-old male, standing at 6 feet and weighing 170 pounds, with dark hair, green eyes, a fair complexion and a slender build.
