Beltrami County man reunited with his family

A 78-year-old Beltrami County man was reunited with his family after being missing for at least 12 hours.

Chief Deputy Jarrett Walton said the man has memory and some other health issues.

The call from Hagali Township near Tenstrike came a half past midnight Thursday and a logger found the man in Waubun yesterday afternoon.

Deputies and the man’s family checked local businesses and places he visits and weren’t able to find him.

The man reportedly left his residence in the middle of the night in a black truck. No further information about the incident was available at press time.
