The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office was recognized as one of 68 agencies receiving “Excellence in Pursuit of Justice” awards from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald said, “Even through the unprecedented challenges of this past year, these professionals are unwavering in their commitment to public safety.”
Other agencies and organizations given the award included the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Minnesota Department of Corrections and the FBI. The award is fairly new, having begun in 2018.
