Beltrami County Public Health reports they have only a few left to vaccinate for those who work in health care, child care, and E through 12 education. The focus will now shift to those who are 65 and older.
Many in this age group have already been vaccinated, but there are still many who have not yet been reached. Because of the uncertain nature of when vaccines are received, clinics are often scheduled only a few days in advance.

Gov. Tim Walz announced that the next group of vaccine-eligible persons can start in early spring.
During an announcement Thursday, Walz said once 70 percent of seniors have been vaccinated by the end of March, eligibility will be expanded and every Minnesotan who wants a vaccine should be able to get one by this summer.
The next eligibility group for April and May will be people with specific high-risk health conditions such as those with sickle cell, Down syndrome, those in active cancer treatment or immunocompromised from organ transplant, and those who are oxygen-dependent with chronic lung and heart conditions.
Another targeted group will be essential workers in food processing plants.
