Abby Randall, Bemidji Chamber Executive Director

Scott Turn, Bemidji Chamber Assistant Director
There’s a new option for Bemidji area residents this holiday season. The Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce is re-introducing “Chamber Bucks” to the community. Chamber Bucks allow people to buy an electronic gift card of any amount to be used at Bemidji area merchants. Bemidji Area Chamber Executive Director Abby Randall and Assistant Director Scott Turn joined Kev Jackson to discuss the program Monday morning.
Using Chamber Bucks is a great way to support local businesses, according to Randall, as the cards can only be used by Bemidji Area Chamber members who opt in to the program.
Turn noted that the program is very 21st century, with online purchasing and electronic delivery. The “Bucks” operate like a Mastercard gift card and can be used at any of 47 businesses that have already opted in to the program (including Paul Bunyan Broadcasting’s BIG DEALS Online Store.) You can buy Chamber Bucks and check out the participating businesses at bemidji.org.
