The United Way of Bemidji area is encouraging local businesses, church and school groups, service organizations and other community organizations to participate in a Week of Caring.
According to a release, this flexible event allows businesses and groups the opportunity to choose a week before the end of December to hold a donation drive to support local nonprofit partners.
“Our success is because of you– the hand-raisers and doers who help build a stronger, caring community through your advocacy, your support and your volunteerism,” said Executive Director of the United Way of Bemidji Area Denae Alamano.
Businesses and groups are encouraged to learn more about United Way’s partner agencies and find more ideas for donation drives on their website.
