The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department responded to from Jan. 11 through Jan. 12, and the incidents the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Jan. 12.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 12
Weapons Offenses, 6:28 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of an individual aiming a firearm at another person on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Officers located male, no firearm was used. Unfounded.
DWI, 4:59 p.m.
Report of an accident on 26th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
Suspicious, 11:10 a.m.
An officer checked on a suspicious vehicle in the Bemidji High School parking lot. The officer identified two students that were directed to return to the school.
Violations/Court Orders, 11:01 a.m.
Domestic violation order on Little Norway Ave. SE. Individual arrested.
Welfare Check, 10:27 a.m.
Report of subject huffing aerosols on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. He denied medical attention and was trespassed by store staff. Closed.
Disturbing the Peace, 9:18 a.m.
Report of subjects yelling at each other in the street on Park Ave. NW. They agreed to go their separate ways.
Theft, 12:46 a.m.
Report of a stolen vehicle on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
TUESDAY, JAN. 11
Theft, 11:58 p.m.
Vehicle theft reported on the 400 block of Pershing Ave. SE.
Disorderly Conduct, 6:27 p.m.
Officers responded to a removal of two adult males for violation of business policy on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. Officers were advised that one male had a felony warrant. The male was arrested for his felony warrant and the other male left the area.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:52 p.m.
Officers responded to a business for a removal of a male on the 600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Male was issued a citation for inhaling aerosol in front of officers. Individual was trespassed from the business and left after medical staff cleared him.
Assault, 5:28 a.m.
Caller called in during verbal argument on Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Argument turned physical, one male arrested for domestic assault.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 12
Assault, 10:09 p.m.
Juvenile arrested for domestic assault on Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake. Two adults also arrested.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 1:42 p.m.
Adult male arrested for DWI on Highway 2 and Jones Townhall Rd. NW in Solway.
