The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Oct. 4, and on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 5
Disorderly Conduct, 11:12 p.m.
Intoxicated male walked into homeowner’s yard on Irvine Ave. and 16th St. NW causing her fear. Male was removed from the property.
Weapons Offenses, 6:31 p.m.
Report of a shoplifter with a gun on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
Medical, 3:10 p.m.
Medical call on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Juvenile female who reportedly ingested cough syrup transported to ER by ambulance.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:07 p.m.
An officer took a report of a fight at the high school on the 2900 block of Division St. W.
Violations/Court Orders, 10:49 a.m.
Adult female taken into custody on DOC hold.
Assault, 9:25 a.m.
Report of domestic on Washington Ave. S. Suspect arrested.
Theft, 8:41 a.m.
Stolen vehicle later recovered on the 1300 block of 3rd St. SE and subject arrested for theft.
Theft, 8:18 a.m.
Report of a shoplifter on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested for outstanding warrant.
Suspicious, 2:46 a.m.
Officers checked on two parties yelling on the 1100 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Female was trying to get her drunk boyfriend home. Officers assisted by providing courtesy rides.
DWI, 12:22 a.m.
Traffic stop on Washington Ave. S. One arrested.
TUESDAY, OCT. 4
DWI, 9:31 p.m.
Traffic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Hannah Ave. NW. One arrested.
Traffic Stop, 8:50 p.m.
Traffic stop for a turn signal violation on the 400 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Driver arrested for a local warrant.
Property Damage, 7:10 p.m.
Rock thrown at a car window on Highway 71 and Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Suspicious, 6:24 p.m.
Officer responded to the report of a suspicious smell in an apartment building on the 600 block of America Ave. NW. Upon speaking to an occupant of the suspect apartment, Officer learned the smell was burning sage. No actions taken.
Family Matter-non criminal, 5:51 p.m.
Officer responded to a report of possible property damage on the 300 block of Norwood Dr. NE. Upon arrival, the eight-year-old was mad at mom and kicked her truck. No crime was committed.
Assault, 12:52 p.m.
One arrested on the 1500 block of Bemidji Ave. N.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:46 p.m.
Officers responded to a disorderly male party at a local apartment complex on the 1900 block of Delton Ave. NW. Upon arrival, the male was arrested on felony warrants.
Assist, 9:19 a.m.
One arrested on the 3000 block of Birchmont Dr. NE.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 5
Found, 10:51 a.m.
Stolen mail found on private property on Great Divide Rd. and Puposky Rd. NW.
Medical, 7:56 a.m.
Complaint of an intoxicated individual damaging property in Wilton. Subject was transported to Sanford Medical Emergency for treatment of self-inflicted wounds.
Assist, 5:22 a.m.
Assist Red Lake Tribal Police with an unsigned juvenile runaway. Located by Bemidji PD in the City of Bemidji.
TUESDAY, OCT. 4
Assist, 9:36 p.m.
Deputies assisted the jail with cell searches.
Welfare Check, 7:58 p.m.
Welfare check on the 400 block of Archery Rd. NW. Male party stated he was ok. Was advised to contact his mother.
Property Damage, 6:03 p.m.
Damage to a mailbox and blue number sign with a shotgun on the 2900 block of Old Long Lake Rd. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 1:25 p.m.
Lost motorist assist on the 15200 block of Joe’s Lodge Dr. SE.
DWI, 2:55 a.m.
Adult arrested for drugs and DWI on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.
