The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Wednesday, Nov. 4.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 4

Welfare Check, 7:45 p.m.

Officer conducted welfare check on individuals on the 1900 block of Bemidji Ave. N. One male arrested for outstanding warrant.

DWI, 7:03 p.m.

Reckless vehicle complaint on Paul Bunyan Dr. and 1st St. E. Driver arrested for DWI.

Theft, 4:36 p.m.

Officers took a report of theft from a vehicle on the 700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Theft, 4:19 p.m.

Stolen vehicle reported on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S.

Warrant, 3:28 p.m.

An individual was arrested on a warrant on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Other, 10:21 a.m.

Adult male wished to confess to a murder when he was 7 years old.

TUESDAY, NOV. 3

Suspicious, 5:46 p.m.

Officers responded to a possible burglary on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. Upon arrival, the house was secured and remodeling taking place. Unfounded.

Property, 5:05 p.m.

Officers recovered a stolen motor vehicle on Anne St. NW.

Theft, 4:44 p.m.

Officer took a report of a possible theft of pumpkins on the 1300 block of East Ave. NE. Unable to contact the victim.

Assault, 11:33 a.m.

Domestic assault on 30th St. NW. Male subject broke down apartment door and gained entry. One arrested.

Weapons Offenses, 1:21 a.m.

Caller reported hearing multiple gunshots on Roosevelt Rd. SE. Unable to locate source.

DWI, 12:49 a.m.

Officer on a foot patrol on the 900 block of 30th ST. NW conducted a stop on a vehicle for multiple infractions. Driver arrested for DWI.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 4

Assault, 9:53 p.m.

Adult male arrested for domestic assault and other charges on the 8500 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Traffic Stop, 9:22 p.m.

Traffic stop on Miles Ave. and Helen St. SE. Driver arrested for drug DWI, one passenger arrested for drug possession and an outstanding warrant.

Suspicious, 7:59 p.m.

Report of spotlighting on Sandpiper Rd. and Sumac Rd. NE in Turtle River.

Family Crimes, 7:43 p.m.

Child custody issue in Cass Lake. Active HRO between the parties, one female arrested for HRO violation.

Theft, 5:26 p.m.

Reported theft of license plate registration stickers on the 5300 block of Sullivan Dr. NW.

Medical, 7:41 a.m.

Deputy flagged down by a male outside the Law Enforcement Center. Male informed deputy he needed an ambulance for his foot after stepping on a rock. Clear.

TUESDAY, NOV. 3

Theft, 5:03 p.m.

Theft of a deer blind reported on the 4100 block of Mill St. NE.

DWI, 10:13 a.m.

Assist Minnesota State Patrol with a DWI arrest on Highway 2 and Jones Townhall Rd. NW in Solway.
