The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Friday, Feb. 7, to Sunday, Feb. 9.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
SUNDAY, FEB. 9
Family Crimes, 7:28 p.m.
911 hang up at the 400 block of Central Ave. SE. Officers arrested multiple people on warrants and child endangerment charges.
Traffic Stop, 5:45 p.m.
Multiple people placed under arrest during a traffic stop on the 1800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Assault, 2:41 p.m.
One arrested for domestic assault on Hwy 2 W and Adams Ave. NW.
Assault, 8:26 a.m.
One arrested for domestic assault on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 2:56 a.m.
Male arrested on a DOC warrant on the 900 block of 30th St. NW.
Suspicious, 2:06 a.m.
Complaint of suspicious activity and possibly hearing a window break. Officers checked the area of the 900 block of 30th St. NW and all was quiet. A subject was arrested on a warrant in attached case.
SATURDAY, FEB. 8
Assault, 11:15 p.m.
Lyft driver reported witnessing a possible assault at a residence on the 1400 block of Bixby Ave. NE. Officer made numerous attempts to contact residents but were ultimately unsuccessful.
Robbery, 5:11 p.m.
Female arrested for simple robbery on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Assist, 4:13 p.m.
Welfare check on 1st St. E. Individuals were found to be fine and were celebrating a child’s birthday.
Violations/Court Orders, 3:08 p.m.
Male arrested on a traffic stop on 9th St. and Mississippi Ave. NW for violating domestic assault no contact order, driving after revocation and several warrants.
Property Damage, 1:00 p.m.
Vehicle egged on the 1100 block of Bemidji Ave. N.
Accident, 12:29 p.m.
Report of a hit and run accident on the 900 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE.
Suspicious, 10:33 a.m.
Stopped and identified subject for a pending investigation on Ridgeway Ave. NW.
DWI, 2:26 a.m.
Traffic stop on 19th St. NE and Bemidji Ave. N. Driver arrested for DWI.
DWI, 1:11 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested for DWI.
FRIDAY, FEB. 7
Disorderly Conduct, 10:33 p.m.
Officers responded to a call of disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Central Ave. SE. A male was arrested on a warrant.
Theft, 10:26 p.m.
Vehicle reported stolen and Officers located it parked at a different apartment building on the 1400 block of 30th St. NW. Referred to auto theft.
DWI, 10:18 p.m.
Adult male arrested for DWI on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.
911, 10:07 p.m.
Tenants accidentally called 911 and no emergency was located on the 400 block of Central Ave. SE. Tenants were also advised to stop smoking marijuana in their apartment.
Suspicious, 9:22 p.m.
Officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle on the 600 block of Washington Ave. S. A suitcase of garbage was found in the location the vehicle parked. The vehicle was no longer there and the garbage was disposed of.
Theft, 5:13 p.m.
Theft of a 10-week-old puppy on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW.
Traffic Stop, 4:10 p.m.
An individual was placed under arrest for multiple charges on the 600 block of Lake Ave. NE.
Accident, 1:36 p.m.
Pedestrian struck in a parking lot on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Assist, 10:23 a.m.
Officers assisted the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force with a local search warrant on the 700 block of Lincoln Ave. SE.
Fire, 3:16 a.m.
Officer responded to a report of a structural fire on the 4100 block of Bemidji Ave. N. The scene was turned over to the Bemidji Fire Department.
DWI, 1:38 a.m.
Traffic stop on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested for DWI.
DWI, 12:03 a.m.
Traffic stop on Hannah Ave. and 28th St. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.

SUNDAY, FEB. 9
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 8:41 p.m.
Vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 2 in Solway. Female arrested for 3rd degree DWI.
Traffic Stop, 7:37 p.m.
Traffic stop on Eckles Rd. and Balsam Rd. NW. Driver was found to be elderly.
SATURDAY, FEB. 8
Animal, 7:08 p.m.
Deceased dog on Highway 89. A collar was attached but no tags.
Traffic Stop, 7:49 a.m.
Driver arrested for 5th degree drug possession and no driver’s license on Roosevelt Rd. and Sunnyside Rd. SE.
Warrant, 12:21 a.m.
Female arrested on Beltrami County warrants on Highway 2.
