BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 24
Pursuit, 10:43 p.m.
Two arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle on 23rd St. and Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 10:34 p.m.
Officer checked the area after a report of several vehicles racing each other on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Middle School Dr. NW. The vehicles were not located.
Suspicious, 9:59 p.m.
Traffic stop on bicyclist on the 300 block of 8th St. NW. Male fled on foot and was not located.
DWI, 8:58 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. One arrested.
Violations/Court Orders, 7:00 p.m.
Multiple individuals placed under arrest on the 2600 block of Delton Ave. NW.
Public Relations, 9:13 a.m.
Foot patrol of area between Holiday South and Ultima Bank. Located homeless encampment on the 100 block of Shevlin Ave. SW.
TUESDAY, AUG. 23
Suspicious, 5:35 p.m.
Report of a personal style drone flown near a residence on the 1200 block of Delton Ave. NW. Complainant advised to report if seen again.
Theft, 4:41 p.m.
Officers received a call about a stolen vehicle at a local business on the 100 block of Shevlin Ave. SW. Officers took a stolen vehicle report.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 4:16 p.m.
Caller reporting incorrect signage at roundabout on Highway 71 and Anne St. NW. No problems with signs found.
Property, 3:32 p.m.
Reporting party found a ring at Cameron Park. Was advised she could bring it to the LEC or she could post the item on social media to try and locate the owner. RP stated that she would post it on social media and if reported to LE we could contact her.
Assault, 12:21 a.m.
Officers responded to an assault in progress. One female arrested.
MONDAY, AUG. 22
DWI, 9:33 p.m.
Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. and 14th St. NE. Driver arrested.
911, 3:05 p.m.
Officer spoke with female who was setting up new iPhone on 26th St. NW. Accidental 911 misdial.
Assist, 10:57 a.m.
Officer assisted and advised on a citizen on a copious amount of unrelated questions ranging from HROs to noise ordinance violations. No further actions were taken.
Theft, 3:42 a.m.
Motor vehicle tampering and theft on the 600 block of 2nd St. SE.
Suspicious, 1:25 a.m.
Male with no light on bike on Bemidji Ave. and 18th St. NW. Arrested for warrant.

Deputies assisted Bemidji PD with a pursuit on 23rd St. and Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Two arrested.

Welfare Check, 8:10 p.m.
Deputies responded to a welfare check in Hines. Male arrested for HRO violation.
Animal, 6:54 p.m.
Assisted with moving a trapped horse on the 26400 block of Debs Rd. NW in Pinewood.
911, 2:05 a.m.
Possible overdose in Cass Lake.

Adult arrested for DWI on Carlson Ave. and Brandl Dr. NW in Blackduck.
Assault, 6:45 p.m.
Adult arrested for multiple charges on the 600 block of Lake Ave. NE.
Boat, 2:09 p.m.
Sailboat left at public access in Clearwater County.
Warrant, 1:57 p.m.
A male was arrested for a warrant on the 64000 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
