The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to from Wednesday, Aug. 5, to Sunday, Aug. 9.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

SUNDAY, AUG. 9

Disorderly Conduct, 3:30 p.m.

Officer responded to a residence on the 25200 block of Phoenix Loop NW in regards to a disorderly female. One arrested.

Disorderly Conduct, 3:13 p.m.

Report of argument and items thrown from a building on the 2900 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Upon arrival, all was quiet, and neighbors had cleaned up all the items.

Suspicious, 11:43 a.m.

Male snuck into vehicle through sunroof of vehicle to grab his own property from a vehicle he had permission to be in on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. No further actions taken by officer.

Suspicious, 9:04 a.m.

Stolen vehicle reported on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. One male arrested.

DWI, 3:40 a.m.

Officer received a report of a medical emergency, driver was believed to be having a drug overdose. Multiple parties arrested for warrants and DWI on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S.

SATURDAY, AUG. 8

911, 7:29 p.m.

911 misdial, dog accidentally called.

Burglary, 6:27 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary on the 600 block of Patriot Dr. NW.

Property, 1:16 p.m.

Stolen vehicle recovered on the 100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.

Hazards (dangerous), 9:23 a.m.

Officer fixed manhole cover that was partially ajar on 8th St. NW.

FRIDAY, AUG. 7

Assault, 10:46 p.m.

Individual arrested for domestic assault and fleeing a police officer on America Ave. NW.

Assist, 9:56 p.m.

Officers gave a courtesy ride to a passenger of a traffic stop on the 1200 block of Lake Ave. NE. One arrested.

DWI, 1:38 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of drug activity on the 2400 block of Middle School Dr. NW. One arrested.

Disorderly Conduct, 10:09 a.m.

Subject advised to refrain from igniting fireworks on the 500 block of 26th St. NW.

Disorderly Conduct, 6:28 a.m.

Request to re move a subject from the 500 block of 26th St. NW. It was determined he owned the property, and he agreed to remain in the garage.

Agency Assist, 4:27 a.m.

Assist task force on Lake Ave. SE.

DWI, 3:23 a.m.

Officers responded to the report of a fight in progress or a medical emergency on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Multiple individuals placed under arrest.

Sex Crimes, 1:21 a.m.

Individual arrested for domestic assault on Bemidji Ave. N.

DWI, 12:30 a.m.

An intoxicated driver was arrested after he crashed into a structure on 4th St. and Scott Ave. SE.

THURSDAY, AUG. 6

Suspicious, 11:01 p.m.

Report of a male yelling out a window on the 1400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Officers were unable to make contact with anyone at the house, no one yelling was located.

Hazards (dangerous), 1:20 p.m.

Officer responded to an area for a possible unsafe flying of a remote controlled model airplane. Officer did not see anything of concern. No further actions by officer.

Theft, 11:51 a.m.

Theft from a business and property damage to a nearby church on the 1600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW, possibly related.

Suspicious, 11:05 a.m.

Individual was standing in front of a residence on the 2100 block of Irvine Ave. NW acting strange. Officer tried speaking with individual, where she quickly stated the officer was not invited to her party and walked away. The officer was shocked and confused on the hostility thrown his way. The officer, still left in awe, had nothing else to do but drive away hoping one day he could achieve a good relationship with the individual.

Disorderly Conduct, 11:05 a.m.

Request to remove subject on the 1100 block of 1st St. E. He left without incident, and was issued a promise to appear for an outstanding warrant.

Assist, 10:37 a.m.

An officer assisted another agency with an investigation on the 3900 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Burglary, 10:19 a.m.

Theft from garage reported on the 200 block of Richards Ave. NE.

Burglary, 7:11 a.m.

Burglary complaint on the 1200 block of Exchange Ave. SE.

DWI, 2:54 a.m.

Officer observed a vehicle running with an individual passed out behind the wheel. One male arrested for DUI on the 300 block of 3rd St. NW.

DWI, 2:30 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 900 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE. Driver arrested for DWI.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 5

Assist, 7:21 p.m.

Officer provided a courtesy ride for a male back to his residence on 23rd St. and Middle School Dr. NW. The male had a broken scooter.

Burglary, 6:33 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary on the 1400 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Suspicious, 4:48 p.m.

An officer responded to a suspicious male throwing an axe at a tree. The male fled the area of the 400 block of Bemidji Ave. N and was not located.

Assault, 3:31 a.m.

Officers responded to an active domestic. One adult female arrested on 30th St. NW.

DWI, 2:10 a.m.

Traffic stop on 18th St. and Irvine Ave. NW. Multiple individuals placed under arrest.

Warrant, 12:36 a.m.

Adult female arrested on multiple warrants on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SUNDAY, AUG. 9

Medical, 9:55 p.m.

Male reported he was being followed in Cass Lake. Male later admitted to drug use. At this time, report is unfounded.

Accident, 4:57 p.m.

Deputy assisted Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Leech Lake Police Department with a two vehicle accident with multiple injuries on 65th Ave. and 154th St. NW in Cass Lake. One arrested.

Suspicious, 12:51 p.m.

Deputy spoke with complainant regarding a suspicious seed packet on the 2400 block of Pine Acres Rd. NE.

Violations/Court Orders, 9:28 a.m.

Adult male arrested for OFP violation.

Agency Assist, 3:40 a.m.

Assist Bemidji Police Department with medical, one male arrested.

Traffic Stop, 12:46 a.m.

Traffic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. S. and Connect St. SW. Driver arrested for DWI.

SATURDAY, AUG. 8

DWI, 9:53 p.m.

Traffic stop on Main St. and Grand Ave. SW in Wilton. Male driver arrested for warrant, DWI and 5th degree possession. Male passenger arrested for a dangerous weapon and 5th degree possession.

ATV, 9:04 p.m.

Reckless ATVs reported anonymously. Some drivers located on Lakin Ave. and 4th St. NW in Kelliher and couseled.

Fire, 7:29 p.m.

Dark smoke reported on the 25700 block of Highway 72 NE in Blackduck. Determined to be large bonfire.

Assist, 9:22 a.m.

Driver honking at deputy wanting to speak to him on the 600 block of Anne St. NW. Deputy spoke to male driver. Driver wanted to know about roads in Hubbard County.

Agency Assist, 8:01 a.m.

Deputies responded to a report of a physical domestic assault. One male arrested for DANCO violation.

Traffic Stop, 1:55 a.m.

Traffic stop on Roosevelt Rd. and Tyler Ave. SE. Driver arrested for DWI.

FRIDAY, AUG. 7

Traffic Stop, 9:03 p.m.

Traffic stop on Twin Ponds Ln. and Scenic Highway NE in Pennington. One male arrested for DOC warrant.

Warrant, 7:06 a.m.

Adult male arrested on a warrant on the 1200 block of Little Norway Ave. SE.

Assist, 4:27 a.m.

Assist task force on Lake Ave. SE.

Warrant, 3:18 a.m.

A male and female party were arrested for local warrants on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SW.

THURSDAY, AUG. 6

Suspicious, 11:59 p.m.

Male found asleep at the wheel on Alder St. and Bemidji Rd. NE. Arrested for drug DWI, drug possession and unlawful firearm possession.

Assault, 11:41 p.m.

Domestic assault, one male arrested.

Warrant, 8:01 p.m.

Local warrant picked up by Cass County.

Assist, 12:08 a.m.

One arrested on Highway 71 and Highway 2 NW.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 5

Suspicious, 10:42 p.m.

Report of low flying drones in the area on the 1300 block of Whiting Rd. NW.

Harassment, 6:38 p.m.

Report of a male destroying property with a Bobcat on the 2300 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE. Male arrested for outstanding warrant and suspicion of drug DWI.

Other, 1:44 p.m.

Complaint about Red Lake border closure in Grygla.

DWI, 1:20 a.m.

Female arrested for 3rd degree DWI on Tyler Ave. and Roosevelt Rd. SE.

Traffic Stop, 12:01 a.m.

Traffic stop for stop light violation on Highway 2 and Moberg Dr. NW. Driver arrested for DUI.
