The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Traffic Stop, 8:06 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW. Adult male driver arrested for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.

Welfare Check, 6:28 p.m.

Welfare check on a female party on the 800 block of 26th Street NW, female arrested on a warrant.

Theft, 11:03 a.m.

Shoplifter arrested on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Drive NW.

Suspicious, 9:00 a.m.

Report of suspicious activity on Minnesota Avenue, described as a “known drug house.”

Disorderly Conduct, 3:11 a.m.

Report of a disturbance coming from an apartment on the 1400 block of Minnesota Avenue NW. An intoxicated male had been kicked out by the renter. Subject was given a courtesy ride to a local shelter.

Suspicious, 1:40 a.m.

An officer checked on an adult male with two bags hanging around Central Elementary during the early morning hours. Male was using the ambient light to rummage through his bags.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Theft, 8:11 p.m.

Motor vehicle theft investigation on the 400 block of Archery Road NW.

Traffic Stop, 6:05 p.m.

Traffic stop on Swiss Lane and Highway 2 NW. Driver arrested for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Traffic Stop, 2:41 p.m.

Driver arrested for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety on the 1200 block of Little Norway Avenue SE.
