The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Monday, April 25.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Assault, 11:59 p.m.

Officers responded to a domestic assault on America Ave. NW. One arrested.

Suspicious, 10:30 p.m.

Caller reported suspicious kids’ bike parked at a neighbor’s residence on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Nothing suspicious found.

Suspicious, 10:25 p.m.

Caller thought she heard a single gunshot outside of her apartment window on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Officers thoroughly searched the area but found nothing suspicious.

Traffic Stop, 8:53 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Driver arrested.

Theft, 4:58 p.m.

Vehicle theft on 19th St. and Birchmont Dr. NE.

Theft, 12:26 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle on Birchmont Dr. NE.

Dead Body, 7:46 a.m.

Responded to the report of an adult male not responding and not breathing at the Hampton Inn and Suites.

Animal, 6:44 a.m.

Officer removed a displaced beaver from a local school on the 3300 block of Gillette Dr. NW.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Warrant, 9:07 p.m.

Custody of male transferred from Red Lake Tribal Police to Deputy for a Beltrami County warrant.

Burglary, 11:20 a.m.

Deputy took a report of a burglary on the 1300 block of Stoner Ave. SE.

Theft, 8:26 a.m.

Theft of road cones from a road wash-out area on Pottery Rd. NW in Solway.

Property, 8:12 a.m.

Report of a lost gun on the 143600 block of Clearline Rd. NW in Solway.

Traffic Stop, 12:37 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 2200 block of Division St. W. Female driver was arrested for a warrant, false name and DWI. A female passenger was arrested for an active warrant.
