The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Monday, Aug. 2.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Suspicious, 11:46 p.m.
Caller reported seeing suspicious shadows outside of her residence on the 500 block of 4th St. NW. Nobody was present.
Disorderly Conduct, 11:43 p.m.
Officers responded to the report of male and female individuals fighting on the 2100 block of Harrison Ct. SW. Both parties fled into the woods together prior to officers’ arrival.
Suspicious, 10:54 p.m.
Officer checked on a vehicle with two occupants that appeared to be fornicating on the 1100 block of Event Center. Dr. NE. Individuals stated they were watching a movie. No issues.
Property Damage, 7:58 a.m.
Graffiti on a motor vehicle on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Medical, 12:57 a.m.
Officers responded to a drug overdose on the 1200 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Hazards (dangerous), 11:37 p.m.
Report of banging noise on the 2600 block of Van Buren Ave. SE. Area checked and unable to locate any issues.
Animal, 8:11 p.m.
Report of cows on the roadway on Swenson Rd. and Power Dam Rd. NE. Owner was contacted and wrangled the cows back into the fenced-in area.
911, 10:27 a.m.
Subject arrested for repeatedly calling 911 for an emergency that didn’t exist on the 1000 block of Thomas Rd. SW.
Fire, 8:27 a.m.
Report of subjects burning brush on Kansas City Rd. NE in Waskish. Handled by DNR Fire without deputy response.
