The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Monday, Dec. 30.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
DWI, 11:45 p.m.
Traffic stop on 4th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.
Welfare Check, 10:36 p.m.
Officer witnessed a guardian exhibiting aggressive discipline to a toddler. Officer checked on toddler who was found to be fine. Officer spoke to guardian about better ways to handle their anger.
Disturbing the Peace, 10:23 p.m.
Officers responded to a noise complaint on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Subject stated her child had thrown his toys and made noise. No action taken.
Disorderly Conduct, 7:00 p.m.
Request to assist renter in removing an unwanted guest from her apartment on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Subject was arrested on a confirmed Beltrami County warrant.
Accident, 6:48 p.m.
Officers responded to a 2-vehicle crash with no injuries on 30th St. and Park Ave. NW. Female driver was arrested.
Disorderly Conduct, 2:03 p.m.
Business requested removal on the 500 block of America Ave. NW. Suspect was gone before officers arrival. Male with a warrant was observed on the sidewalk near the business. Male was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.
DWI, 1:52 a.m.
Traffic stop on Paul Bunyan Dr. and 3rd St. SE. Driver arrested for DWI.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Theft, 2:11 p.m.
Deputies responded to a stolen snowmobile trailer report on Old Curry Rd SE in Cass Lake.
Disturbing the Peace, 2:33 a.m.
Noise complaint on the 500 block of Justice Rd. NW. Culprit was told to quiet down.
