The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, Dec. 1.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Animal, 11:48 p.m.

Black and white cat impounded from the 600 block of Mississippi Ave. NW. Cat was friendly and tame.

Family Matter-Non Criminal, 9:50 p.m.

Officer assisted a parent with locating a juvenile on Irvine Ave. SW. Juvenile was in the driveway.

Assist, 5:57 p.m.

Female reported that her laundry, which she paid for, was still wet when she got it out of the dryer on the 600 block of America Ave. NW. Advised her that this was not a police matter and that she should work with the apartment manager to resolve the issue.

Theft, 1:45 p.m.

Shoplifting and warrant arrest on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Violations/Court Orders, 10:11 a.m.

Agency assist with probation arrest on the 1900 block of Norton Ave. NW. Individual was transported to Beltrami County Jail.

DWI, 1:42 a.m.

Traffic stop on 1st St. E and Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Driver arrested for DWI.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Weapons Offenses, 11:32 p.m.

Report of several gunshots heard on the 1700 block of Scenic Highway NE in Pennington. Unable to locate where they came from. No signs of distress in the area.

DWI, 10:22 p.m.

Traffic stop for expired registration on Blackduck Lake Rd. and Summit Ave. W in Blackduck. Driver arrested for DWI and felony possession of a controlled substance.

Weapons Offenses, 9:34 p.m.

Report of heard gunshots on Jade Dr. SW. Unable to locate where they came from. No signs of distress in the area.

Theft, 4:05 p.m.

Deputy took report of suspected ATV theft on the 700 block of Sunset Way NW. ATV located and was towed privately back to owner.

Disorderly Conduct, 3:57 p.m.

Female arrested for multiple warrants on the 2100 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE.

Animal, 2:45 p.m.

Homeowner requesting assistance with dog with porcupine quills on the 29000 block of Cass River Rd. SE. Deferred to Leech Lake Tribal Police-Pets for Life program.

Warrant, 10:22 a.m.

Deputies responded to a male with a warrant possibly leaving a residence on the 8700 block of Country Club Rd. NE. State Patrol arrested the male prior to arrival.

Theft, 12:35 a.m.

Vehicle theft on the 23700 block of Pass Rd. NE in Hines.
