BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Welfare Check, 9:29 p.m.

Male walking through business lots on the 800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S. Male told officer he didn’t want to walk through snowbanks.

Weapons Offenses, 8:34 p.m.

Male subject assaulted on the 1200 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Under investigation.

Welfare Check, 7:57 p.m.

Officer responded to a welfare check on the 2700 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Female arrested for child endangerment.

Theft, 6:47 p.m.

Officers responded to the report of three adult shoplifters on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Three arrested.

Harassment, 6:33 p.m.

RP received a series of messages and phone calls from her live-in boyfriend on 15th St. NW. The communications do not constitute harassment.

Welfare Check, 5:53 p.m.

Informational report of possible threats involving a power company on 4th St. SE.

Assault, 12:59 p.m.

Report of attempted kidnapping on the 1700 block of Birch Ln. NE.

Security Check, 9:27 a.m.

Exptra patrol request on the 2600 block of Middle School Dr. NW. Squatters in sauna overnight.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Suspicious, 9:48 p.m.

Vehicles watching Northern Lights on Gull Lake Loop Rd. and Hagali Rd. NE in Turtle River.
