The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Thursday, Oct. 27.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 11:57 p.m.

Caller reported possible car break-in on the 100 block of 4th St. NW. It was determined that the subject had entered the wrong Buick parked next to his own. No crime established.

DWI, 11:17 p.m.

Traffic stop on 15th St. and America Ave. NW. Driver arrested.

Welfare Check, 10:26 p.m.

Welfare check on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW. Female arrested for child endangerment.

Disorderly Conduct, 9:50 p.m.

Female arrested for trespass and disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Trespass, 1:45 p.m.

Report of a homeless camp on private property reported by a third party. Officer checked the area of 14th St. and Irvine Ave. NW and could not locate people near or in the tents on the property. City officials are attempting to contact property owner to seek civil remedies to get the camp removed.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 11:28 a.m.

Check on vehicle in private parking lot on the 6400 block of Bemidji Ave. N. Caller was concerned the vehicle was stolen. Officer checked unoccupied vehicle and determined it had not been reported stolen.

Disorderly Conduct, 7:46 a.m.

Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of America Ave. nW. Arrest made.

Weapons Offenses, 6:32 a.m.

Report of individuals possibly with guns outside of an apartment on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Unfounded as caller stated there were no guns, maybe a bat or club. Suspects were gone on arrival.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DWI, 10:52 p.m.

Report of suspicious activity on the 29000 block of Cass River Rd. SE in Blackduck. Male arrested for warrant and DWI.

Assist, 9:36 p.m.

Driver stopped to see if dead animal was a dog on Irvine Ave. NW. It was a fox. Nothing further needed.

Animal, 5:22 p.m.

Deputies responded to pigs in the roadway on Wilkey Loop Rd. and Power Dam Rd. NE. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the pigs.

Weapons Offenses, 3:09 p.m.

Deputies responded to Irvine Ave. and Lumberjack Rd. NW in Nebish to assist the Red Lake Tribal Police with a motor vehicle pursuit/shooting incident that occurred on the Red Lake Reservation.

Suspicious, 2:38 p.m.

Extra patrol request for the 14500 block of Anjonabe Ct. SE. Early to late morning. Vehicles driving slow and casing the area.

Assault, 1:19 p.m.

One adult male arrested for domestic assault on Lamon Rd. NE.

Warrant, 8:52 a.m.

Deputy took custody of a Beltrami County warrant arrested in Cass County on Highway 2.

Accident, 12:05 a.m.

One vehicle rollover on Highway 89 and Ness Rd. NW. Three female parties transported for injuries. Crash investigation handled by State Patrol.
