The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Aug. 17.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Suspicious, 10:02 p.m.
Officers responded to the report of suspicious individuals on the 2100 block of S. Lake Irving Dr. SW. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to a group of individuals looking for lost keys and sunglasses.
Assault, 7:54 p.m.
Officers responded to a local hospital on a report of a male individual stabbed with a knife on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Officers made contact with male subject who said he did not want to go forward with charges.
Medical, 2:40 p.m.
Report of an overdose on the 900 block of Lake Shore Dr. NE. Female deceased.
Fire, 9:16 a.m.
Agency assist at a fire on the 3500 block of Saint Onge Dr. NE.
Theft, 6:30 a.m.
Theft of a motor vehicle on the 3100 block of Cedar Ln. NW.
Suspicious, 5:26 a.m.
Officer responded to the report of a possible suspicious person inside a house unplugging phone chargers on the 500 block of 20th St. NW. Officer cleared the house, no signs of entrance were observed.
Accident, 4:19 a.m.
One arrested on the 800 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.
Accident, 3:10 a.m.
Vehicle accident on the 4000 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. Occupants fled prior to officers’ arrival. One arrested.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Theft, 10:02 a.m.
Trailer stolen from the Beltrami County Highway Department shop on the 12900 block of Nebish Rd. NE.
Agency Assist, 3:10 a.m.
Stolen vehicle crash on the 4000 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. One suspect arrested for other charges.
