Bemidji Blotter for Tuesday, Feb. 25

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Assist, 7:46 p.m.

Caller forgot where she parked and thought her vehicle was stolen. Officer found the vehicle where it had been parked on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Assist, 4:50 p.m.

Property owner called and wanted his son’s ex-girlfriend removed from the residence that was in his name. Spoke with the reporting party on the phone and stated to him that his son needs to request that his ex-girlfriend be removed.

Theft, 11:57 a.m.

Report of a stolen vehicle on the 900 block of Grant Ave. SE. Vehicle was located soon after the report and the driver was arrested for multiple charges.

DWI, 2:01 a.m.

Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. N and 11th St. NE. Driver arrested for DWI.

Traffic Stop, 12:40 a.m.

Officer conducted a traffic stop on Minnesota Ave. NW for expired registration. Subject arrested for driving after revocation-inimical to public safety.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 10:31 p.m.

Assisted troopers who stopped a vehicle following a reckless vehicle complaint. Two arrested on Highway 2 and Cardinal Rd. NW.

Traffic Stop, 6:57 p.m.

Bicyclist stopped for no lights on bicycle after dark, and for swerving into traffic on Irvine Ave. and 29th St. NW. Male arrested for probation officer.

Suspicious, 7:47 a.m.

Suspicious vehicle/person reported on Mission Rd. and Quill Ln. SE in Cass Lake.
