Bemidji Blotter for Tuesday, Feb. 8

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Feb. 8.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Weapons Offenses, 10:07 p.m.

Officers responded to reports of a gunshot on the 800 block of 26th St. NW. After a thorough check of the building and surround area, no signs of distress were located.

Fire, 5:17 p.m.

Officer responded to a fire at the Sanford Center. Upon arrival, Bemidji Fire was in control and no active fire was ongoing.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:49 p.m.

Caller requested a removal on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Subject arrested for out-of-county warrant.

Disorderly Conduct, 11:51 a.m.

An officer responded to the 1900 block of Middle School Dr. NW for disorderly conduct. One juvenile arrested.

Welfare Check, 8:55 a.m.

Female advises she has a HUGE spider in her apartment on the 200 block of 3rd St. NW. The female was advised to contact her landlord or a friend to assist her in removal.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Accident, 11:47 p.m.

Reported on Mayflower Dr. and Highway 89 NW.

Fire, 5:25 p.m.

Report of a fire on Highway 2 and Northwood Rd. NW. Authorized and supervised burns in progress.

Assist, 1:43 p.m.

Deputy basically pushed a car singlehandedly across Bemidji Ave. at 3rd St. NW by themselves.

Assist, 12:34 a.m.

Deputy responded to a request for assistance from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office on a traffic stop on County Rd. 9 and Union Rd. Multiple persons were arrested by the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office.
