The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Monday, Jan. 21.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Traffic Stop, 9:23 p.m.
Traffic stop on Hannah Ave. and 30th St. NW. Multiple individuals placed under arrest.
Theft, 3:25 p.m.
An investigator took a vehicle theft report from the 1400 block of Miles Ave. SE.
Theft, 11:51 a.m.
Walmart requested officer presence for two shoplifting suspects. One female was arrested on a felony Dakota warrant.
Animal, 11:43 a.m.
Officers responded to a call about a dog biting people on the 2800 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Officers arrived and impounded dog.
DWI, 1:33 a.m.
Officer checked on a vehicle which had hit a snowbank on Wood Ave. and 3rd St. SE. Driver arrested for DWI.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Traffic Stop, 10:44 p.m.
Traffic stop on the 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Driver arrested for DWI and passenger arrested on a warrant.
Assault, 9:34 p.m.
Domestic assault in Kelliher. One adult male was arrested.
Drugs, 4:30 p.m.
Report of possible drug activity on the 4600 block of Birdsview Ln. NW.
Traffic Stop, 1:18 p.m.
Traffic stop on Bemidji Rd. and Wintergreen Ln. NE. One adult was arrested for false name, driving after revocation and expired registration.
Animal, 7:28 a.m.
Deputies conducted a welfare check on horses in Solway. They were well taken care of.
