The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, July 27.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Welfare Check, 9:41 p.m.

Caller requested welfare check of adult male sleeping in the grass on the 200 block of Mississippi Ave. SW. Subject was waiting for the homeowner to get home, declined assistance.

Suspicious, 9:34 p.m.

Officer spoke with adult male grilling in a parking lot on the 3200 block of Hannah Ave. NW. Individual was asked to put the grill and fire out, to which he complied.

Assist, 7:12 p.m.

Officers assisted staff on the 3100 block of Hannah Ave. NW with a disorderly male. Male individual agreed to listen to staff and not hide from them.

Theft, 3:54 p.m.

Seat and handlebar light stolen off bikes on the 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Theft, 2:27 p.m.

Vehicle theft on the 1500 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Recovered a few minutes later. Civil issue between a married couple. Forwarded charges of obstruction.

Traffic Stop, 1:20 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Adult female arrested for local warrant.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Burglary, 7:11 p.m.

Report of possible attempted burglary on Jones Townhall Rd. NW in Solway.

Assist, 6:48 a.m.

Deputies assisted the Red Lake Police Department. One arrested.
