Bemidji Blotter for Tuesday, March 22

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, March 22.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Welfare Check, 11:55 p.m.

Officers took the report of two possibly intoxicated males shoving and yelling at each other on the 2400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. After a thorough check of the surrounding area, officers were unable to locate any individuals matching the description provided.

Theft, 4:31 p.m.

Stolen property recovered on Delton Ave. and 15th St. NW. One male arrested.

Burglary, 3:43 p.m.

Officer responded to an assist with possible squatters in their apartment on the 2900 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. Upon arrival, one female was arrested for burglary.

Suspicious, 10:06 p.m.

Adult female trying to “evict” people from her brother’s residence on the 900 block of 20th St. NW.

Missing Person, 7:03 a.m.

An officer conducted a welfare check on a juvenile male on 4th St. NW. The juvenile was placed with social services. A parent was located and charged with child endangerment.

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 6:51 a.m.

Officer checked on a vehicle attempting to drive onto a curb on the 500 block of Anne St. NW. Driver was spoken with and it was determined the driver was lost. Driver was then given directions. No further actions were taken.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Assist, 10:36 p.m.

Possible location of a stolen vehicle reported on the 80000 block of 480th Ave. in Grygla.

Property Damage, 4:26 p.m.

Tire tracks left in yard near driveway on the 300 block of Great Divide Rd. NW. Verbal warning for trespassing.
