The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, May 16.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Property Damage, 10:49 p.m.
Officer responded to the report of damage to a car’s windshield on the 3800 block of Moberg Dr. NW. The vehicle had struck an animal several days prior, which was the cause of the damage.
Animal, 10:36 p.m.
Report of a bobcat in the area of the 2700 block of Birchmotn Dr. NE. Referred to DNR.
Suspicious, 5:36 p.m.
Officer took the report of multiple suspicious people walking up to the window of a first floor apartment on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. The area was checked and no suspicious activity was observed.
Burglary, 5:06 p.m.
Burglary from a garage on the 1100 block of Park Ave. NW. Property was recovered as suspects ran off.
Weapons Offenses, 1:25 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a subject with a firearm at an apartment complex on the 1900 block of Delton Ave. NW. One arrested.
Assist, 3:44 a.m.
Police Officer assisted Hubbard deputies in locating a burglary suspect on the 2100 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE. Suspect was ultimately located outside of city limits.
Assault, 1:47 a.m.
Domestic assault investigation on Conifer Ave. NW. One arrested.

Assault, 6:52 p.m.
Report of domestic assault on 3rd St. SE. One arrested.
DWI, 6:49 p.m.
Adult arrested for DWI, DL Status violation and drugs on Irvine Ave. and Thompson Ct. NW.
Theft, 1:38 p.m.
Report of a stolen vehicle in the city of Blackduck. One arrested.
Burglary, 11:32 a.m.
items stolen from a cabin on Highway 72 NE in Waskish.
Warrant, 10:46 a.m.
Male arrested on warrants on the 16100 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE.
Assault, 7:26 a.m.
Anonymous report of people yelling in a trailer park on Alps Ct. NW. Deputy made contact with residents in the area, unfounded.
Agency Assist, 3:44 a.m.
Assisted Hubbard County with locating a burglary suspect on the 2100 block of Roosevelt Rd. SE. Male arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance.
Weapons Offenses, 1:30 a.m.
Deputies advised of the sound of a gunshot in the area on Little Norway Ave. SE. Unable to locate.
