The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, May 31.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Assault, 11:11 p.m.

Officer responded to an assault on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Suspect fled prior to officer’s arrival. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.

Welfare Check, 6:59 p.m.

Officer responded to a welfare check on Irvine Ave. and 30th St. NW. Child was catching up to his parents on the road.

Agency Assist, 4:34 p.m.

Assist Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office on Oscar Ave. NW in Blackduck. Male arrested.

Theft, 12:59 p.m.

Report of an auto theft on the 2800 block of Ridgway Ave. NW.

Assist, 9:48 a.m.

Officer assisted the DOC with a warrant arrest on the 2400 block of Calihan Ave. NE. Officer transported the arrestee to the jail.

Burglary, 8:38 a.m.

Officer took a report of a burglary on the 1300 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Burglary, 8:27 a.m.

Damage to building and someone entered the building on the 2300 block of TruStar Ave. NW, but did not take any valuables.

Traffic Stop, 2:12 a.m.

Traffic stop on the 1900 block of Norton Ave. NW. Driver cited and passenger arrested for a Hubbard County warrant.

Burglary, 12:34 a.m.

Trespass/damage to property complaint on the 100 block of 12th St. NW.

DWI, 12:07 a.m.

Traffic stop on Bemidji Ave. and 5th St. NW. Driver arrested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Property, 10:01 p.m.

Deputy took a report of a possible stolen bicycle found on private property on the 6800 block of Elliot Rd. NE.

Accident, 6:48 p.m.

Assisted state patrol with crash on Highway 2 NW in Wilton. One arrested.

Agency Assist, 4:34 p.m.

911 hangup on Oscar Ave. NW in Blackduck. One arrested for domestic assault.

Warrant, 3:56 p.m.

Male arrested for a warrant and several other violations on the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW.

Animal, 2:27 p.m.

Deputy bitten by a dog twice on the 9000 block of N. Grace Lake Rd. SE.

Theft, 10:23 a.m.

Theft of dock section reported on the 51300 block of Topeka Dr. NE in Kelliher.
