The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Public Relations, 11:57 p.m.
One arrested on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Welfare Check, 10:32 p.m.
Caller requested welfare check on children in neighboring apartment on the 2500 block of Itasca Loop NW due to hearing yelling and screaming. All occupants appeared to be ok, mother stated one child was throwing a tantrum.
Welfare Check, 4:53 p.m.
Caller reported shirtless male screaming at people outside the Law Enforcement Center on the 600 block of Minnesota Ave. NW. Subject arrested on a felony warrant and cited for obstructing legal process/resisting arrest.
Found, 2:16 p.m.
Ex-boyfriend left a firearm on the 100 block of Rako St. SW, complainant cannot have due to being a convicted felon.
Assault, 11:53 a.m.
Report of a male who slapped a female while walking on the sidewalk on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Officer searched the area and was unable to locate anyone matching the description given.
Assist, 11:05 a.m.
Officer attempted to make contact with a Polk County deputy on an assist on the 3700 block of Bemidji Ave. N. The deputy never returned the call and at this time nothing has been done.
Accident, 9:51 a.m.
School bus hit fire hydrant at 8th St. NW and Bemidji Ave. N.
Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:36 a.m.
Male reporting that his locked vehicle had been gone through but nothing was taken on the 2500 block of Birchmont Dr. NE. RP stated that this was the 8th time in the last couple of months that his locked vehicle had been gone through.
Welfare Check, 12:16 a.m.
Second-hand report of a car theft turned into a welfare check of the owner. Both the car and subject were found to be fine on the 100 block of 3rd St. NW and not in need of any assistance.
Disorderly Conduct, 12:02 a.m.
Intoxicated adult male arrested for misusing emergency communications, obscene telephone calls and disorderly conduct on the 600 block of 4th St. NW.

Accident, 11:09 p.m.
Report of a vehicle in the ditch on the 4600 block of Mission Rd. NE.
Assist, 3:59 p.m.
Assisted adult probation with arresting one female on an A&D order on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW.
Fire, 3:19 p.m.
Deputies responded to a residential fire on the 1400 block of Quill Ln. SE in Cass Lake.
Theft, 10:19 a.m.
Catalytic converter thefts on the 5000 block of Scribner Rd. NW.
