Bemidji Blotter for Tuesday, Sept. 21

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Sept. 21.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Accident, 10:16 p.m.

Officer responded to a vehicle collision involving a dog on Lake Ave. and East Ave. NE. There was no notable damage to the vehicle, however, the dog died as a result.

Theft, 9:02 p.m.

Theft from vehicle reported on the 1200 block of 30th St. NW.

Medical, 8:29 p.m.

Overdose patient on the 300 block of Gould Ave. NE. Officers administered Narcan and performed CPR. No ambulance was available, after the patient was revived, the officer transported patient to ER.

Suspicious, 8:19 p.m.

Officer responded to a report of a suspicious package delivery on the 1900 block of Delton Ave. NW. Package was determined to be the reporting party’s items delivered early.

Medical, 8:11 p.m.

Unresponsive male on the 600 block of 3rd St. NW. Transported via EMS.

Welfare Check, 7:04 p.m.

Officers checked on a report of a male screaming in the roadway on the 2300 block of Trustar Ave. NW. Male was located and admitted to screaming. Male was advised to discontinue behavior.

Welfare Check, 6:48 p.m.

Officer checked on a report of children attempting to climb on a roof of a residence on the 800 block of America Ave. NW. Upon investigation, it was determined to be children moving a trampoline.

Theft, 3:59 p.m.

Catalytic converter theft reported on the 900 block of Washington Ave. S.

Animal, 2:52 p.m.

Fawn drowned in a pond on the 1000 block of Washington Ave. S. Complainant given information for local DNR office.

Medical, 2:15 p.m.

Officers responded to a possible overdose on the 100 block of 11th St. NE. Upon arrival, male party was transported by Bemidji Ambulance.

Weapons Offenses, 1:34 p.m.

An officer received a weapons offense report on the 3700 block of Division St. W.

Theft, 4:20 a.m.

Theft of a firearm reported on the 2900 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.

Pursuit, 2:40 a.m.

Stolen firearm on Hannah Ave. and 30th St. NW. One arrested.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Theft, 10:20 p.m.

No report of a stolen vehicle on the 13400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Registered owner advised.

Assist, 8:21 p.m.

Stolen vehicle returned to owner, suspect arrested on Highway 1 NE in Kelliher.

Agency Assist, 2:40 a.m.

BCSO assisted with a BPD vehicle pursuit on Hannah Ave. and 30th St. NW. A PIT was used and vehicle rammed a squad. Driver was arrested, law enforcement seized a stolen gun.
