The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
DWI, 10:14 p.m.
Traffic stop on 8th St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. Adult male arrested for DWI and second degree possession of a controlled substance.
DWI, 7:12 p.m.
Officer stopped a vehicle for multiple infractions on Anne St. and Highway 71 NW. Driver arrested for DUI.
Theft, 3:21 p.m.
Report of theft from residence on the 1000 block of Beltrami Ave. NW.
Theft, 7:50 a.m.
Stolen UTV recovered by the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Accident, 1:12 a.m.
Vehicle was westbound on Birchmont Beach Road and appeared to have had a tire blow out cuasing the dirver to lose control of the van and roll into the ditch area. The tire that blew out was well worn with tire cords showing.
