Bemidji Blotter for Wednesday, Feb. 1

The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Disorderly Conduct, 8:58 p.m.

Officer responded to the report of suspicious individuals at an apartment complex on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Adult female placed under arrest after a foot pursuit.

Suspicious, 12:48 p.m.

Officer took a report of a possible theft of a mattress on the 2600 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Upon speaking to the complainant, no theft occurred as the mattress showed up.

Disorderly Conduct, 2:24 a.m.

Officer responded to a verbal argument between significant others over alcohol on Irvine Ave. NW. No criminal activity observed or reported. Male party given courtesy ride to a friend’s house.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Vehicle Calls/Complaints, 7:23 p.m.

Report of a logging truck driving recklessly in Tenstrike. No driving conduct observed.

Traffic Stop, 4:08 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 4400 block of Washington Ave. S. Female driver charged with DAR and possession of a controlled substance, male passenger arrested for an active warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

Warrant, 2:28 a.m.

Warrant arrest on Highway 2.

DWI, 12:26 a.m.

Adult arrested for DWI and driving status violation on 5th St. and Lake Ave. NE.
