The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Jan. 19.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

DWI, 10:56 p.m.

Traffic stop on the 1900 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.

Theft, 7:23 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Irvine Ave. and Anne St. NW. Officers later located the vehicle and the owner collected it.

Theft, 4:57 p.m.

Officer took a vehicle theft report on the 900 block of 26th St. NW.

Theft, 2:02 p.m.

An officer responded to the 600 block of America Ave. NW for a theft complaint. One arrested, another cited.

Theft, 8:19 a.m.

Stolen vehicle report on the 900 block of 26th St. NW.

DWI, 1:48 a.m.

Three vehicle crash on the 1000 block of Beltrami Ave. NW. Adult male driver arrested for suspicion of DWI.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DWI, 7:18 p.m.

Traffic stop on Paws Path Ln. SE and Scenic Highway. Male arrested for third-degree DWI refusal and fifth-degree drugs.

Other, 1:49 p.m.

Subject claiming he recently moved to the area, providing information that he did not get along well with law enforcement where he lived previously. He has been contacting Sheriff Beitel via CrimeStopper tips and emailing Beltrami County Attorney Dave Hanson.

Suspicious, 12:19 a.m.

Caller was concerned about sounds and smells from her basement on Trails End Rd. NE in Kelliher.
