The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
DWI, 11:39 p.m.
A welfare check was done on a male sitting in a vehicle on the 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. The male was later arrested for being in control of a motor vehicle while impaired.
Assist, 10:31 p.m.
Agency assist on a search warrant on the 200 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW. Male and female were arrested and a child was placed on a 72-hour hold.
Traffic Stop, 10:07 p.m.
Multiple individuals were placed under arrest for multiple charges on the 1000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Theft, 7:26 p.m.
Individuals were placed under arrest for multiple charges on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.
Disturbing the Peace, 6:10 p.m.
Female was arrested on a warrant during a noise complaint investigation on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
Public Relations, 5:19 p.m.
Information provided about a town hall meeting at the Hampton Inn with a Republican speaker.
Suspicious, 4:54 p.m.
Caller reported an unknown female had yelled at her in the alley on the 300 block of 15th St. NW.
Suspicious, 1:11 p.m.
Caller stated there is a lot of traffic going towards a residence on the 2500 block of Irvine Ave. NW and they are concerned this may be drug activity. Referred to Task Force.
Violations/Court Orders, 4:03 a.m.
Adult male arrested for a domestic abuse no contact order violation on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW.
DWI, 3:42 a.m.
Officer conducted a traffic stop for a suspended object on the 2400 block of Ridgeway Ave. NW. One adult female arrested for DWI.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Other, 6:07 p.m.
Intoxicated male party calling 911 from the 500 block of 18th St. He was advised not to call 911 unless he had an emergency.
Assault, 4:39 p.m.
Assault on the 500 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. One adult arrested.
Burglary, 3:09 p.m.
Burglary reported on the 22100 block of Pleasant Valley Rd. NW in Puposky.
Other, 2:20 a.m.
Individual provided law enforcement with non-descriptive information about a possible suspect from a detective show he saw on TV.
Traffic Stop, 12:29 a.m.
Traffic stop on Highway 2 W and Moberg Dr. NW. Driver was arrested on a warrant and cited for driving after revocation.
