The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Traffic Stop, 11:42 p.m.

Traffic stop on Minnesota Ave. NW. Adult male arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Ordinance Violations, 9:56 p.m.

Warnings were given for unattended vehicles on the 2800 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW.

Suspicious, 1:16 p.m.

Report of suspicious footprints in the snow on the 100 block of Pine Ct. NW. It was discovered to be the meter reader.

Assist, 10:43 a.m.

Attempt to locate stolen vehicle on the 900 block of 30th St. NW. Not located.

Welfare Check, 5:52 a.m.

Report of male yelling in front of Nymore Laundry. He was not located.

Suspicious, 1:56 a.m.

Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person attempting to solicit drugs on the 400 block of Irvine Ave. NW. An adult male was arrested on a DOC warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Suspicious, 10:36 p.m.

Report of a suspicious light on the north side of Lake Bemidji. Deputies located a malfunctioning house light, all okay.

Burglary, 4:08 p.m.

Burglary reported on the 4700 block of Kappes Ln. SE in Cass Lake.
