The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, July 20.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Assault, 9:53 p.m.

Officer responded to the report of two individuals yelling and one chasing the other on Cedar Ln. NW. Adult male placed under arrest.

DWI, 9:16 p.m.

Traffic stop on Linden Blvd. and 30th St. NW. Female driver arrested.

Fire, 8:30 p.m.

Three small fires extinguished near the bike trail on the 100 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. SE. Fires appeared suspicious.

Welfare Check, 12:06 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Bemidji Airport. Male was arrested.

Suspicious, 11:31 a.m.

Report of destroyed house on the 300 block of Norwood Dr. NE. Charges pending.

Dead Body, 7:13 a.m.

Male found unresponsive inside the residence on Patriot Dr. NW and later died. Death investigation pending.

Traffic Stop, 2:19 a.m.

Traffic stop on Delton Ave. and 15th St. NW. Driver arrested.

 

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Suspicious, 8:47 p.m.

Suspicious person on the 5600 block of Alps Ct. NW. One arrested.

Warrant, 5:00 p.m.

Warrant arrest on Highway 89 NW in Puposky.

Agency Assist, 1:26 p.m.

Deputy assisted Blackduck Police with a two-vehicle accident on Main St. and Margaret Ave. NE in Blackduck. One adult female injured.

Trespass, 11:38 a.m.

Census employee arriving to residence on Becker Rd. NW in Solway weekly.

Assist, 10:12 a.m.

Stolen vehicle recovered by Leech Lake Tribal Police Department on Mission Rd. and Ten Lake Trl. E in Cass Lake. Driver arrested and vehicle returned to owner. No assistance needed.

Agency Assist, 1:20 a.m.

Deputies responded to a report of kids on the roof of the Blackduck Elementary School. Gone on arrival.
