The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, June 2.
BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Suspicious, 9:47 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious individual. Officers located a male and a female in the area of the 600 block of Woodland Ave. SW. Officers advised there was an active DANCO between the two. One was arrested.
Alarm, 2:10 p.m.
Alarm caused by neighbor watering plants on the 3200 block of Greenbriar Ln. NE.
Assault, 9:42 a.m.
One arrested for domestic assault on Pine Ridge Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 3:48 a.m.
Complaint of suspicious activity on the 2900 block of Pine Ridge Ave. NW. Adult male arrested and released on a Beltrami warrant.
Warrant, 1:34 a.m.
Officers heard a male screaming for help on Paul Bunyan Dr. and Trustar Ave. NW. Individual was arrested on a felony warrant.
BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Accident, 10:29 p.m.
Caller reporting cattle struck by vehicle on the 29500 block of Irvine Ave. in Puposky. Driver and occupants refused to provide info and drove away.
DWI, 9:43 p.m.
Female arrested for fourth-degree DWI on the 4100 block of Irvine Ave. NW.
Suspicious, 7:16 p.m.
Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle on Windy Hill Ln. and Buchanan Ave. SW. Driver arrested for receiving stolen property and drug DWI.
Fire, 5:52 p.m.
Wildfire reported on the 28400 block of Highway 71 NE in Blackduck. Subject had a burning permit which DNR agent believed to be the wrong type. Handled by DNR.
Agency Assist, 3:57 p.m.
Assisted in arrest of suspect in DANCO violation in the city of Blackduck.
Suspicious, 11:19 a.m.
Deputies investigated a possible stolen mini-bike on the 5700 block of Nature Rd. NW. An adult male was arrested for drug DWI and possession of stolen property.
