The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, June 9.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Suspicious, 11:53 p.m.

Hit and run on the 500 block of Irvine Ave. NW. Possibly hit by a white passenger car, given the damage to the vehicle.

Assault, 11:04 p.m.

An officer took a report of an assault on Beltrami Ave. and 4th St. NW.

DWI, 10:57 p.m.

Traffic stop on 2nd St. and Minnesota Ave. NW. Driver arrested for DWI.

Warrant, 9:02 p.m.

An adult male placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant on the 1300 block of Anne St. NW. Custody of the subject was transferred to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Burglary, 9:43 a.m.

An individual reported an attempted burglary on the 1000 block of 5th St. SE.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Violations/Court Orders, 9:33 p.m.

OFP violation reported on the 20300 block of Highway 89 NW. Subject in custody.

Burglary, 6:30 p.m.

Burglary reported on the 8400 block of Bemidji Rd. NE.

Assist, 3:15 p.m.

Deputy assisted Hubbard County in locating an assault suspect on the 26500 block of Irvine Ave. NE in Puposky. The suspect was located and arrested. The suspect was then taken into custody by Hubbard County.

DWI, 12:11 p.m.

Report of an assault on the 100 block of Convenience Ln. SE. Adult male arrested for drug DWI.
