The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Wednesday, May 4.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Fire, 11:44 p.m.

Officer assisted the Bemidji Fire Department on the 5300 block of Bemidji Ave. N. No signs of distress.

Disturbing the Peace, 11:23 p.m.

Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of America Ave. NW. Male individual knocking on his door loudly.

Disturbing the Peace, 10:21 p.m.

Officer responded to a noise complaint on America Ave. NW. Spoke to several adults around a campfire playing relatively quiet music on a small speaker. Advised to turn music down. Complainant was unable to be reached.

Hazards (dangerous), 7:45 p.m.

Found shotgun shells located in the roadway on Minnesota Ave. and 26th St. NW. Shotgun shells placed into evidence for disposal.

Disorderly Conduct, 6:02 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a man being chased by a female with a bat on Beltrami Ave. and 12th St. NW.

Theft, 8:50 a.m.

Report of a shoplifter on the 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW led to location of a stolen vehicle. One juvenile arrested.

Robbery, 12:51 a.m.

Adult male reported a robbery on the 700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. S.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Disorderly Conduct, 11:02 p.m.

Male arrested on outstanding warrants following a verbal argument on Mission Rd. SE.

Found, 10:06 a.m.

Deputies advised of a found three-year-old near roadway on the 8000 block of Irvine Ave. NW.

Warrant, 2:06 a.m.

Leech Lake tribal arrest for local warrant, transported by deputy in Cass Lake.
