The following is a summary of incidents the Bemidji Police Department and the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to on Monday, March 2.

BEMIDJI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft, 5:48 p.m.

Caller reported stolen vehicle on the 700 block of Paul Bunyan Dr. NW.

Fraud, 3:37 p.m.

Citizen reported fraudulent calls from persons acting as the FBI. Officers gave advice not to share personal information to anyone on the phone.

Disorderly Conduct, 1:43 p.m.

City hall staff requested officers remove an intoxicated adult male from the building. Subject smelled of alcohol and was carrying a 2/3 full 1.75L bottle of vodka. Citation was issued for consuming in public. Male was arrested.

Property Damage, 11:15 a.m.

Caller reported she was away from home and ex-boyfriend sent her text messages stating he was going to destroy property at her residence. Ex was not at residence when officer arrived, caller refused to allow officer to view text messages.

Theft, 9:54 a.m.

Arrested one adult male on the 200 block of 2nd St. NW for damage to property and possession of methamphetamine.

Hazards (dangerous), 2:16 a.m.

Officer responded to a power line issue on the 1900 block of Irvine Ave. NW. No emergency was present and the power company was notified.

BELTRAMI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Pursuit, 5:13 p.m.

One arrested on Harriet Ave. SW and Highway 2 NW in Solway.

Burglary, 3:25 p.m.

Theft of firearms from a residence in Hornet Township near Blackduck.

Property, 8:25 a.m.

Deputies responded to report of suspicious activity on the 2000 block of Fern St. NW.
